Join us for a special wine evening on Wednesday, March 4th, featuring Rossana Forno and her father, Andrea, founder of Le Lune del Vesuvio, an iconic winery from the mineral-rich volcanic slopes of Mount Vesuvius – Pompei.
Enjoy a guided wine tasting highlighting the expressive, terroir-driven wines from Campania, specifically the Amalfi Coast & Pompei. Rossana and Andrea will personally share the story of the winery and its unique volcanic vineyards.
Rossana and Andrea will be accompanied by Massimo Silvia, certified Italian Sommelier with more than 20 years of experience with artisanal wines.
Caffe Bottega Italiana will serve hors d’oeuvres and a main entree prepared with the excellent ingredients we offer in our store.

Tickets are $75 each, and include all wine tastings, hors d’oeuvres, and entree. All wines will be available for purchase at the event. All attendees must be 21 and over.

Rossana Forno started working at Le Lune del Vesuvio winery at a young age, bringing passion, new energy, and an innovative perspective. In addition to being involved in production, Rossana manages the winery’s tourism activities, leading tours, organizing wine tastings, and proudly sharing her family’s story and passion with anybody who visits.
Andrea Forno personally oversees production at Le Lune del Vesuvio winery, in addition to serving as export manager, sharing his wines with the world. Andrea brings a balance of technical expertise and international vision that has allowed Le Lune del Vesuvio to grow while preserving its authenticity and deep love for the land.


Massimo Silvia is a certified Italian Sommelier with 21 years of experience in wine sales, enology, tastings, wine cellar consulting, restaurant management, and wine and food pairings. When speaking with Massimo, his vast knowledge of wines from around the world is clearly evident and his passion for wine is contagious. Massimo received his Sommelier certification from the Association of Italian Sommelier (AIS) in Rome, Italy, and grew up in Avola, Sicily, and Rome.
